Notice of Temporary Traffic Control Plan
City of Ann Arbor 2020 Street Resurfacing Project:
Boardwalk Drive from East Eisenhower Parkway to Northerly End
Monday, July 20 at 7 a.m.– Saturday, Aug. 29 at 8 p.m.
Location and Limits of Affected Area:
Boardwalk Drive from East Eisenhower Parkway to northerly end.
Description of Work:
The contractor, Cadillac Asphalt and subcontractors, will be performing road construction as part of the 2020 street resurfacing project. Construction activities involve full depth pavement removal and base repairs; removing and replacing segments of concrete curb and gutter; asphalt and concrete driveway approach work; concrete sidewalk and sidewalk ramp work; and repaving of the roadway. Construction will occur between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Temporary Traffic Control Plan:
Beginning on Monday, July 20, 2020, Boardwalk Drive will close to traffic in the northbound direction between East Eisenhower Parkway and Oakbrook Drive. During this closure, traffic will be detoured westerly on East Eisenhower Parkway, northerly on South State Street, and easterly on Oakbrook Drive back to Boardwalk Drive. One-way traffic on Boardwalk Drive between East Eisenhower Parkway and Oakbrook Drive will operate in the southbound direction. It will also maintain two-way traffic on Boardwalk Drive north of Oakbrook Drive to the northerly end. Work is expected to be completed by Saturday, Aug. 29, 2020, weather permitting.

During construction the contractor will maintain pedestrian traffic and detour it as required.
