Ann Arbor City Council Voting Chart for Aug 4, 2021

Aug 5, 2021 | Voting Chart

This was a special hearing for a complaint filed by CM Grand against CM Hayner regarding an MLive story.

The basis of the complaint described how CM Hayner referred to and fully voiced the “n-” word in a conversation with a reporter about the use of words.

CM Hayner was recused from voting.

Due to the COVID-19 “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order, this Council meeting was held remotely via Zoom teleconferencing

It takes a couple weeks for City Council meeting minutes to be officially approved, and I know some of you are curious to know how we vote on the issues that matter to you. In case you are not able to invest over 90 minutes in watching it live or online, below is my Ann Arbor City Council voting chart illustrating how members voted on each issue at the special hearing on August 4, 2021.
