Compost collection extended to Dec 21

Dec 4, 2018 | City News

Due to Ann Arbor’s early cold snap and upcoming warm weather, 2018’s curbside compost collection end date has been extended to Friday, Dec. 21. The city will continue to service compost carts and paper yard waste bags through this date.

As a reminder this holiday season, Christmas trees cannot be discarded on the street or be left out on extensions. The city provides four free drop-off locations for undecorated Christmas trees from Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, through Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019.
