Notice of Temporary Traffic Control Plan
South Industrial Highway Concrete Pavement Repair Project
Monday, May 10 7AM through Friday, July 2, 2021 7PM
Location and Limits of Affected Area:
South Industrial Highway from East Eisenhower Parkway to East Stadium Boulevard.
Description of Work:
The city’s contractor, Doan Construction Company, will be performing concrete pavement repairs as part of the South Industrial Highway Concrete Pavement Repair Project. Construction involves removal of deteriorating concrete slabs, repairing base materials as necessary, and installing new concrete pavement.
Temporary Construction Traffic Control Plan:
Beginning on Monday, May 10, all northbound lanes of South Industrial Highway will be closed between East Eisenhower Parkway and Stimson Street. Vehicles traveling northbound will be detoured northbound on State Street to Stimson Street, then eastbound on Stimson Street to South Industrial Highway. One southbound lane will be maintained throughout the project, either on the east side or the west side of South Industrial Highway, between Eisenhower and Stimson. Between Stimson and Stadium, one lane of northbound traffic and one lane of southbound traffic will be maintained throughout the project.
For the safety of all, please reduce speeds and drive cautiously through the construction area and detour route. The city thanks motorists in advance for patience.
