The north end of South Industrial Highway (at Stadium) and the south end (at Eisenhower) will be resurfaced from Wednesday, September 29 through Sunday, October 3, 2021 (weather permitting).
On Friday, October 1, 2021, intermittent lane closures will be in place at either end of South Industrial Highway. At the East Stadium Boulevard end construction will occur on one half of the roadway at a time and traffic will be shifted to the other half with one lane being operational in both the northbound and southbound directions of travel. At the East Eisenhower Parkway end the road will be closed to northbound traffic during paving activities with traffic detoured westerly on East Eisenhower Parkway, northerly on South State Street and easterly on Stimson Street. Southbound traffic will be maintained at this location, and two-way traffic will be restored at the end of the work day. Flagging operations at both ends of South Industrial Highway will also be utilized at times while this work is occurring.
Additionally, from Wednesday September 29 through Wednesday October 6, 2021, ramp work at Stimson and State Streets will reduce available lanes, but all traffic movements will be available.
Please reduce speeds and drive cautiously through work zones for the safety of all. We thank you for your patience.
