The following update was provided by Jason Forsberg, Deputy Chief of Police:
On Wednesday July 10, 2019, the Ann Arbor Police Department and Washtenaw Metro SWAT team will be conducting a tactical training exercise inside several buildings on Davis, Greene, and Hoover.
This is a training exercise only and will include the usage of the AAPD armored vehicle.
There will be no street closures or neighborhood impacts as a result of this exercise, which will be conducted inside buildings. The exercise will take place from approximately 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
