From the survey:
The City of Ann Arbor is updating its Comprehensive Transportation Plan — a guiding document to prioritize City investments in the transportation network, including roads, sidewalks, paths, bike lanes, and public transit. The upcoming update to the Comprehensive Transportation Plan, Ann Arbor Moving Together Towards Vision Zero, will seek to define, develop, and implement recommendations supporting transportation planning, policy and programs. Vision Zero is a strategy that many major cities have adopted which aims to eliminate traffic fatalities and severe injuries, while increasing safe, healthy, equitable, mobility for all. Part of the development of the plan includes reaching out to the public to learn more about how you travel around the City, what challenges you face, and your vision for the future.
The survey will help us understand how you move around the City and what you think this plan should prioritize. Please take 10 minutes to fill out this survey and share it with your friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers. This survey will remain open until May 20th, 2019.
We are also seeking volunteers to participate in a focus group in late April or early May. Focus group sessions will be 90 minutes in length and will be led by a trained focus group moderator. You will not need to prepare anything in advance. If you are interested, please fill out this short survey: surveymonkey.com/r/CTPFocusGroups.
