Notice of Temporary Traffic Control Plan:

City of Ann Arbor 2021 Street Resurfacing Project
Packard Street Asphalt Path Between
Stone School Road and Independence Boulevard
Monday, June 14, 2021 7 AM to Friday, June 25 8PM

Location and Limits of Affected Area:

Packard Street between Stone School Road and Independence Boulevard.

Description of Work:

The contractor, Cadillac Asphalt, and subcontractors, will be rehabilitating the existing asphalt path along the easterly side of the street. Work will involve crushing and shaping of the existing asphalt pavement; concrete sidewalk and ramp work; placing a new asphalt surface; and restoring areas disturbed by the construction activities. Construction will occur between 7 AM and 8 PM Monday through Saturday.

Temporary Traffic Control Plan:

Beginning Monday, June 14, 2021, an intermittent lane closure will be in place on Packard Street in the northerly bound direction with traffic shifted into the center turn lane. Flagging operations will also be utilized during these lane shifts. Work is expected to be completed by Friday, June 25, 2021, weather permitting.

In addition, pedestrian traffic will be shifted to the opposite side of the street.

To maintain the safety of all, please reduce speeds and drive cautiously through the work zone. The city thanks motorists in advance for their patience.
