The traffic control plan on South State Street between Stimson Street and Oakbrook Drive will change starting Aug 19, 2019, and is expected to complete Aug 29th. See the map and text below for details.

Location and Limits of Affected Area:
South State Street between Stimson Street and Oakbrook Drive.
Description of Work:
Corby Energy Services will continue work on South State Street between Stimson Street and Oakbrook Drive to permanently restore the pavement from the previous DTE duct bank work, during the DTE State Street Station Subtransmission Duct Bank Phase 1.
Temporary Traffic Control Plan:
Beginning Aug. 19 at 9 a.m., southbound traffic on South State Street between Stimson Street and Oakbrook Drive will be detoured south on South Industrial Highway and west on Eisenhower Parkway back to South State Street. Northbound traffic on South State Street between Stimson Street and Oakbrook Drive will continue to be maintained in that direction.
Additionally, Henry Street between South State Street and White Street, and Mary Street between East Hoover Avenue and Benjamin Street will temporarily become two-way traffic for the purposes of maintaining access to residential driveways for the duration of the South State Street closure.
Only local traffic and driveway access will be permitted on South State Street between Granger and Stimson and between East Hoover and Arch.
The closure will remain until 3 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29.
To maintain the safety of all, please reduce speeds and drive cautiously through the detour route. We thank you in advance for your patience.
